The Catholic church is now saying that the theory of evolution is compatable with God’s Word!? I guess that I should not be suprised, since the majority of what they teach is heresy. It still shocked me though. You can read the story here. They claim that the two are “perfectly compatible” if the Bible is read correctly. They are dead wrong. God’s Word is without error and is inspired and I don’t know how anyone can understand “In the beginning God…” in a way to ever mesh with the religious theory of evolution.

September 1, 2005Here is an informative article written by a Christian man about the debate over Intelligent Design and Creationism and if you are really ambitious here is the transcript to LARRY KING LIVE – Creation or Evolution? which aired on August 23, 2005.
It has been reported over and over again in the media that Creationism and Intelligent Design are one and the same, but they are not! I am excited to see that evolution is being challenged and ID is a step in the right direction but it is not the answer, it doesn’t go far enough! The only answer to Evolution that goes far enough is, “In the beginning, God…”.
Science & The Bible (#1)
August 31, 2005One of our teens (SG) brought my attention to an article by Kenneth Chang in this past Sunday’s Detroit News. It was a discussion about Evolution and Intelligent Design.
I know that many of you have gone back or will be going back to school in the next few days. Many of you will sit in a science class where the Biblical account of creation will be ridiculed and undermind. I just want to give y’all a little encouragement as you head back to school.
The article stated the following:
“Creationism – Scientific basis: No
Intelligent design – Scientific basis: Proponents say yes, critics say no
Evolution – Scientific basis: Yes”
News Flash! There is no more “scientific basis” for evolution than there is creation. All three of these views are bases not on science but on FAITH!! The evolutionist has faith in man. The one who accepts intelligent design has faith in some power other than himself, he’s just no sure what or who that power is. The creationist has faith in Almight God, the Creator of the universe! It is a persons faith that determines what “scienetific” position they accept.
Where is your faith?
