The Derby

Every year I look forward to the Triple Crown races. I have ever since I was a young kid. I love horses and I love to cheer for the underdog, even if it’s not who I want into the race cheering for.  For me, that made this years version of the Kentucky Derby was simply amazing. Below is an overhead view of the end of the race. It’s pretty cool watching Mine That Bird make a run for it from this angle.

The Gospel in 6 Minutes

Every time I have opened up my Google video account to upload a teen video or post one to the blog, there has been a link to a video that Google thinks I might like. After dozens of times of skipping past it, I finally clicked on it the other day. It was pretty good and I wanted to share it with you.

Little Schmitz

Yesterday I found this video clip. It is of Steven “Schmitty” Schmitz and he is telling a story about Samantha and Maryanne at the SNAC we had at our house just before Sam moved away. I had to laugh as it brought back memories of the little, high-pitched Schmitty we all used to know.
